The mission of Talent Drips is to focus completely on showcasing new voices in Erotica.
The difference between Erotica and Pornography is that while both forms may or may not have a plotline, Erotic stories have more emotional depth and more characterization than a traditional Pornographic story.
Talent Drips is looking for Erotic poems and short stories that makes you want to look around and see who's watching before you keep reading!
Talent Drips is particularly interested in Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual works but also eager to read good hot hetero stories, Fantasy, and Poetry. *Note: Fantasy submitters, mythical creatures having pointless sex is NOT a turn-on for this publication. Talent Drips is looking for more romantic, still erotic, but ORIGINAL plots from submitters than 'the beast takes the submissive maiden and rams her' stuff.
If it's romantic but really erotic - it's in!
No explicit sexual scenes with no plot whatsoever, stories of unwanted sexual intercourse, child molestation, bestality, or prostitution accepted - why are you trying to scare everyone?!?

Talent Drips is published the last day of every February, April, June, August, October, and December.
Talent Drips asks that authors submit through email at
Submissions should be in the body of the email so there is no confusion with attachments. When submitting please put title, author's name, author's contact phone, author's email address, and word count. Please head the email Talent Drips submission. Entries are not returned. Previously published pieces are acceptable - please mention such information when submitting so Talent Drips can note the information if the work is chosen.
Authors whose works are chosen will be given a link to their website and picture here. Authors will be contacted when payment can be dispersed. Generally authors can expect payment 3-6 months after acceptance. The only reason for such a prolonged delay of payment is that the economy is bad.
Poets are paid $10 for each poem accepted and short story/non-fiction writers are paid $15 for each piece accepted. 3 Poets and 3 Short Story Writers are chosen each publication month (depending on the quality of the submissions). All entries will be archived on the site for a full year. Talent Drips asks that all authors respect 1st publication rights of the E-Zine.
Poetry should be 30 lines or less. Short stories between 5,000 and 15,000 words. Submissions are accepted from the 1st through the 29th of date of issue month. E-Queries are thoughtful but not required. All emails will be answered within 2 weeks of receipt.
